I'm currently supporting a leading provider within the critical power sector who are looking to add an LV Switchgear Engineer to their growing team. This is a field-based role working across critical infrastructure sites throughout the South East, with occasional opportunities to support projects across Europe.
Key responsibilities include:
- Installation and maintenance of LV switchgear and associated equipment
- Control wiring and modifications
- Electrical testing, fault finding, and troubleshooting
- Supporting commissioning and maintenance activities
- Working closely with clients and project teams on-site
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
What we're looking for:
- Experience working with LV switchgear systems
- Strong electrical installation background
- Control wiring experience
- Basic testing and fault-finding capabilities
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- ECS Card
- Full UK Driving Licence
