Edison Smart are partnered with an innovative robotics and machine safety company that is helping redefine how humans and autonomous machines work together safely. Their technology enables manufacturers, robotics companies, and industrial operators to safely deploy autonomous and semi-autonomous equipment across a variety of environments.
As part of this growth, they are looking for an Account Executive to take ownership of the European territory, expanding existing customer relationships while identifying and securing new business opportunities across robotics, automation, defense, warehousing, agriculture, and construction sectors. This is a highly visible commercial role responsible for driving revenue growth across Europe.
You will inherit existing customer relationships while also building a pipeline of new opportunities with OEMs, system integrators, robotics manufacturers, and industrial end users. The successful candidate will be comfortable operating in a high-growth environment, managing complex enterprise sales cycles and engaging with both technical and executive stakeholders.
- Grow revenue within existing customer accounts through expansion and cross-sell opportunities.
- Identify, engage, and win new customers across industrial automation and robotics markets.
- Manage complex sales cycles from initial engagement through contract negotiation and close.
- Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting within CRM.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of quota-carrying B2B sales experience.
- Experience selling into industrial automation, robotics, machine safety, IoT, or related technology markets.
- Proven track record of winning new business and growing strategic accounts.
- Experience selling to OEMs, system integrators, manufacturers, or industrial end users.
- Strong enterprise sales methodology and experience managing complex stakeholder environments.
- Demonstrated success selling technical solutions involving hardware, software, or integrated systems.
- Experience forecasting and managing sales activity through a CRM platform.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Europe.
