Edinmore Contracts Ltd are the leading insurance reinstatement contractor in Scotland and have been providing an all‑trades service to the insurance sector in East & West Central Scotland for over 20 years. Using our own tradesmen and a selection of quality sub‑contractors, we provide solutions for all aspects of insurance damage, such as escape of water, flood, storm & fire. Due to continued growth within our Grangemouth and Chapelhall branches, we currently have a full‑time position for an experienced Contracts Manager.
Duties:
- Programming labour, using in‑house trades and subcontractors.
- Management of claims from inception to completion.
- Preparation of risk assessments, method statements and CDM documents.
- Ordering materials and associated cost control of claims.
- Liaising with clients & operational colleagues.
- Achieving monthly revenue targets.
- Preparation of monthly reports.
- Preparation of final accounts.
Requirements:
- 3+ years in contract/project management.
- Previous experience within the insurance re‑instatement sector would be beneficial.
- Full, clean driving licence valid to drive in the UK.
- Good understanding of current Health & Safety regulations.
- Ability to prioritise and able to work under pressure.
- Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Good presentation, communication, numeracy and literacy skills.
- Ability to demonstrate a flexible approach to work.
- Technical awareness and able to work with some support to deliver all pre and post contract service delivery and to solve problems.
- Proactive and self‑motivated.
- Effective time management.
- Efficient and adding value to projects.
- Customer focused – ability to show empathy and build sound relationships with customers.
- Ability to read and interpret job specifications.
