MAIN DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform general electrical and mechanical engineering duties to ensure that our pump systems are operating as specified.
- Carry out maintenance, repairs, commissioning and installations of our pump stations and associated equipment.
- Travel nationwide to client sites.
- Participate in our Emergency Call‑Out Rota.
- Work with grey water and effluent systems and within confined spaces.
- Communicate effectively with the service team, providing reports and photos of pumps and associated equipment, using a PDA and mobile phone.
- Provide positive and helpful disposition and professionally communicate with customers.
- Work independently or as part of a team.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
- Proven experience with grey water and effluent systems / submersible pumping stations.
- Strong mechanical and electrical skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to work remotely and participate in Emergency Call‑Out Rota.
- Professional customer‑facing demeanor.
- Positive personality and must be trustworthy, honest and have integrity.
- BS7671:2008 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification would be advantageous.
