MAIN DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform general electrical and mechanical engineering duties to ensure that our pump systems are operating as specified.
  • Carry out maintenance, repairs, commissioning and installations of our pump stations and associated equipment.
  • Travel nationwide to client sites.
  • Participate in our Emergency Call‑Out Rota.
  • Work with grey water and effluent systems and within confined spaces.
  • Communicate effectively with the service team, providing reports and photos of pumps and associated equipment, using a PDA and mobile phone.
  • Provide positive and helpful disposition and professionally communicate with customers.
  • Work independently or as part of a team.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Proven experience with grey water and effluent systems / submersible pumping stations.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Ability to work remotely and participate in Emergency Call‑Out Rota.
  • Professional customer‑facing demeanor.
  • Positive personality and must be trustworthy, honest and have integrity.
  • BS7671:2008 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification would be advantageous.
