Edinburgh University Students' Association is looking to recruit a Venue Technician to join our Business Development team. We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all suitably qualified persons.

The Venue Technician role is designed to support the Technical Production Manager in the delivery of events and productions across multiple sites. This role is very much hands-on; aimed at supporting event delivery for live performances, theatre shows, conferences, club nights, and other event types. Additionally, this role is built around the implementation of the technical maintenance schedule and upkeep of equipment.

As Venue Technician for venues across multiple sites, you must be able to demonstrate hands-on experience across lighting, sound and staging equipment. A strong background in event set-up, technical troubleshooting and client support is required. You must demonstrate an ability to deliver to a high industry standard in a fast-paced environment and communicate clearly, professionally and timely with both internal colleagues and internal/external clients and suppliers.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Pattern: 5 Days: Monday – Sunday.

Work Location: In-person
