Are you a friendly, organised, and proactive individual with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service? Join our dedicated team at Edinburgh Sports + Spinal Physiotherapy (ESS Physiotherapy), a leading private clinic committed to helping people move better and live pain‑free.
Location: ESS Physiotherapy, Earl Grey Street Clinic, EH3 9BN
Hours: 15–30 hours per week. Shifts will be scheduled within our clinic opening hours of 8:00am–8:00pm.
About the Role
As the first point of contact for our patients and visitors, you will create an exceptional clinic experience while supporting the smooth day‑to‑day running of the practice.
- Welcome patients and visitors with warmth, professionalism, and excellent customer care
- Manage appointment bookings, incoming phone calls, emails, and online enquiries
- Coordinate appointment scheduling using clinic management software
- Support physiotherapists and clinicians to ensure efficient daily operations
- Process payments and assist with invoicing and insurance administration
- Maintain a clean, organised, and professional reception and clinic environment
About You
- Previous reception, front‑of‑house, or administrative experience (healthcare experience desirable but not essential)
- Strong clerical and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Comfortable with data entry and maintaining accurate records
- Strong typing and written communication skills
- Professional appearance and excellent telephone etiquette
- Proficient in Google Workspace applications
- Confident using technology and booking systems (full training provided)
- Reliable, approachable, and enjoys working collaboratively as part of a team
