We're looking for a Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant to join Edinburgh Napier University's Talent Acquisition team.
This is an opportunity to lead recruitment activity across academic and professional services roles, partner with hiring managers across the University, and help attract exceptional talent that supports our teaching, research and student experience.
Combining recruitment expertise, stakeholder management and continuous improvement, you'll play a key role in delivering a professional, data-informed and candidate-focused recruitment service within a fast-paced and evolving environment.
About the Role
As a Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant, you'll manage recruitment campaigns from attraction through to onboarding, providing expert advice and guidance to hiring managers throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
You'll use market insight, recruitment data and professional judgement to support hiring decisions, improve recruitment outcomes and deliver an outstanding candidate experience.
Working across a varied portfolio of vacancies, you'll help ensure the University continues to attract talented individuals who align with our values and ambitions.
What You'll Do
- Lead end-to-end recruitment campaigns across academic and professional services vacancies.
- Partner with hiring managers to develop effective attraction, assessment and selection approaches.
- Manage specialist, business-critical and hard-to-fill recruitment activity.
- Build talent pipelines through proactive sourcing and candidate engagement.
- Use recruitment data and market intelligence to inform hiring decisions.
- Provide expert advice on recruitment best practice, right to work and immigration requirements.
- Deliver a positive experience for candidates and hiring managers.
- Support recruitment projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure recruitment activity complies with legislation, policy and best practice.
- What We're Looking For
- Significant experience in recruitment, talent acquisition or resourcing.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Experience managing multiple recruitment campaigns and competing priorities.
- Proven ability to provide expert recruitment advice and support decision-making.
- Experience using recruitment systems, data and market insight.
- Knowledge of UK Right to Work and immigration requirements.
- Understanding of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion within recruitment.
- Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Experience of identifying and implementing service improvements.
- Confidence sourcing and engaging passive candidates.
