Edinburgh Napier University is seeking a highly organised and proactive Programme Support Coordinator to join our Strategic Alliance Programme. This is a unique opportunity for someone to contribute to a high-profile collaborative initiative involving multiple institutions and stakeholders. Working closely with senior programme leaders, you will provide comprehensive administrative, organisational and operational support to help ensure programme activities are delivered effectively.

The role offers a great opportunity to gain exposure to strategic programme delivery, project governance and stakeholder management while building relationships across the higher education sector and making a meaningful contribution to an ambitious and impactful collaboration.

As Programme Support Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of the Strategic Alliance Programme, providing high-quality programme and executive support, coordinating governance activities, maintaining programme documentation, managing communications and ensuring actions are progressed effectively. Working closely with colleagues and stakeholders across the partnership, you will support financial monitoring and reporting, organise workshops, events and engagement activities, and contribute to the preparation of reports, presentations and programme materials.

Who we're looking for

You will be an experienced administrator with excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities within a complex and fast-paced environment. You will bring:

  • Degree-level education or equivalent relevant professional experience.
  • Experience supporting and coordinating projects, programmes or large-scale coordination events and activities.
  • Experience of financial administration, budget tracking and preparing financial information or reports.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
  • The ability to work independently, prioritise effectively and meet competing deadlines.
  • Experience working collaboratively across multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience within a higher education environment would be advantageous.

Application Information

Salary: £31,236 - £37,694 per annum (depending on experience). This vacancy will remain open on an ongoing basis; however, the advertisement may close earlier if a suitable candidate is identified and appointed. We will be speaking to potential candidates on a rolling basis, so early applications are encouraged. This post is funded until August 2028 and is offered on a fixed-term basis. Continuation beyond this date will be subject to ongoing funding. On this occasion, the University will not consider applicants requiring sponsorship or visa support for this role. International applicants will therefore only be able to take up this role if they can demonstrate an alternative right to work in the UK.
