Join our team as a People Partner at Sighthill Campus, Edinburgh. Are you an experienced HR professional, who is passionate about driving organisational change and supporting strategic objectives? What You'll Do:
- Partner with Schools and Professional Service leadership teams to support the delivery of their vision and strategic direction.
- Use data to identify people priorities and trends, and to influence solutions and drive decision-making.
- Work closely with key stakeholders on succession planning to ensure that talent strategies align to business need and that retention and pipeline risks are identified and mitigated.
- Lead on workforce planning to ensure appropriate structures, headcount and roles, that contracts are suitable for the business needs and workforce capability is maximised.
- Drive organisation design and change initiatives which deliver operating models that support the achievement of the university objectives.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, coaching and supporting on people management approaches, on resolving people challenges and on optimising performance.
- Endorse and steer engagement improvement activities.
What We're Looking For:
- An experienced HR Business Partner or Consultant able to establish strong trusted relationships with senior leaders.
- Proven ability to drive change and manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
- Extensive experience in operating model design and organisational effectiveness and transformation.
- Well-developed analytical skills, with the ability to respond to challenges and to implement initiatives to support the achievement of strategic goals.
- Team-oriented mindset and a passion for developing a positive workplace culture.
- Experience of developing and implementing strategies to support workforce and succession planning.
- Resilience with excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
