Lead Our Data Transformation Journey
We're seeking an exceptional data leader to join Edinburgh Napier University as our Head of Data and Insight. This is an exciting opportunity to shape and deliver the University's Data Strategy, leading the development of a modern, data-driven culture that enables better decision-making, stronger governance and greater institutional insight. You'll lead our data and business intelligence functions, oversee a growing portfolio of institutional data products, and work closely with senior leaders across the University to ensure data is recognised and managed as a strategic asset. You'll also play a key role in developing the foundations required to support emerging technologies, including AI.
What we're looking for:
- Significant leadership experience within data, analytics, business intelligence or information management.
- Proven experience developing and implementing data strategies and governance frameworks.
- Experience leading organisational change and improving data maturity.
- Strong knowledge of data governance, data quality and business intelligence.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- A collaborative leadership style with the ability to build high-performing teams.
