Offered on a fixed-term basis, we are looking for a creative and motivated Applicant Experience & Conversion Officer to join our Enquirer & Applicant Experience Team based within our dynamic International Operations and Student Recruitment department.
The Role:
You will take the lead in planning and delivering personalised engagement and conversion activity for our UK undergraduate and postgraduate applicants, ensuring every step of their journey reflects the care and quality we’re known for. From thoughtful emails and digital content to campaign management and innovative outreach, you’ll use creativity, insight, and tech to bring our values to life: professional, ambitious, innovative, inclusive in every touchpoint. If you’re passionate about crafting seamless customer journeys, driving applicant success through strategic nurturing, and using insight-driven communication to make a real impact, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and deliver multi-channel conversion campaigns that guide and support applicants at every stage.
- Make full use of our CRM and enterprise tools to send tailored communications that resonate.
- Collaborate across teams to create consistent and effective messaging.
- Use data to measure campaign impact and refine future strategies.
- Bring fresh ideas to the table from interactive tools to community-driven content.
- Help us continue to raise the bar for applicant experience in higher education.
What we will need from you:
- Experience in student recruitment, marketing, communications, or a similar field.
- A strong customer focus and excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Experience using CRM systems or email automation tools to drive engagement.
- Creative flair and an ability to adapt your message to different audiences.
- A collaborative spirit and a can-do attitude.
Experience in higher education is desirable but not essential; we value attitude, adaptability, and alignment with our values above all.
