The Security Team at Edinburgh Napier University provides round-the-clock services, ensuring a safe and secure environment across our campuses.
Currently, we have opportunities available for Security and Safety Assistants to join us and support with building access, emergency support and out-of-hours health and safety reporting.
We are a living wage employer and can guarantee you a pay rise each year , as well as excellent paid holiday entitlement based on 41 days per year.
The
Job: As Security and Safety Assistant, you will have the opportunity to use your experience of working in a customer focused environment along with your approachable, personal manner to support and direct students, staff and visitors to our University campuses as appropriate, whilst also ensuring a safe, first-class customer experience.
The job is Permanent and Full Time, 12 hour shifts 2 Days then 2 Nights (4 on and 4 off) rota 7am -7pm and will see you taking charge of general safety across our campuses, as you enforce University regulations concerning Health fire/hazards; use of library/computer suite facilities; security alarms; and data protection.
