We are looking for an International Support Officer to join our Visa & International Support team within the International Operations and Student Recruitment service. The team supports our applicants, students, graduates and their dependants with high‐quality immigration advice, in accordance with the Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner (OISC). We are responsible for ensuring compliance with the immigration rules within which the University operates, helping ensure that sponsored students understand and follow the requirements that apply to them. The team also co‐ordinates induction events for international/EU students, liaises with other University departments on other student‐facing events.

The Opportunity: In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting processes relating to international student compliance and ensuring the University meets its obligations under the Student Visa route. Working collaboratively with Academic Schools and professional services, you will help maintain robust systems, provide clear guidance to staff and students, and contribute to a positive experience for our international community.

You will have the opportunity to build strong relationships across the University, support Visa & International Support initiatives, contribute to enhancements in systems and processes, and play a key role in maintaining effective audit trails to support successful UKVI compliance outcomes.
