We are seeking to appoint enthusiastic individuals to join our TNE & Global Online team within the International Operations and Student Recruitment service. As an International Operations Administrator, you will provide effective and dedicated administrative and student support to our Global Online programmes and/or transnational education (TNE) programmes delivered overseas, allowing students to complete an Edinburgh Napier qualification from their home location.

The Opportunity

In this role, you will undertake a wide range of administrative responsibilities to support students throughout their learning journey. Key duties involve maintaining accurate student records and preparing for and supporting academic boards, including committee servicing. The available positions sit within one of two areas: Global Online or International Programmes (TNE). While both are part of the same wider team, successful candidates will be appointed to primarily support one of these areas.

  • Within Global Online, you will help deliver an excellent student experience by responding to their enquiries via online platforms and telephone. You will work closely with academic colleagues and support our international recruitment agents with administrative processes.
  • Within International Programmes (TNE), you will develop strong working relationships with overseas partners and provide ongoing programme support, including arranging travel. You will work closely with academic colleagues, supporting the delivery of flying-faculty, blended and franchise programmes.

What we'll need from you

  • You should have prior administrative experience, preferably in further or higher education. Demonstrable experience of IT, particularly spreadsheets and databases, is essential.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to plan and prioritise your own workload to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy across all tasks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, whilst being aware of the needs of a diverse group of students.
  • Effective teamwork skills, working collaboratively with others to deliver a high standard of service.
  • The ability to build effective relationships with students, academic staff, and external stakeholders.
  • A creative, solutions-focused approach, helping to identify opportunities for service improvement and implement best practice.
  • Flexibility with a willing approach to meet the peaks and troughs of workload throughout the year is required.
  • Adaptability, with a positive approach to change and new challenges.

Our Excellent Benefits Package:

  • Salary: Grade 3, £26,093 - £31,236 per annum
