  • Maintain alumni web pages and produce regular email communications, including a monthly events newsletter.
  • Support Development campaigns through coordinated digital communications.
  • Support the planning and delivery of alumni engagement events and activities.
  • Assist with alumni volunteering, student and alumni engagement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate alumni records and engagement activity in the alumni database.
  • Contribute to reporting, data management and GDPR-compliant communication preferences.
  • Support initiatives that strengthen alumni–student connections in partnership with the Students’ Association and student societies.

What We’re Looking For

  • A degree or equivalent professional experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of digital and social media platforms.
  • Experience creating and editing digital content in line with brand guidelines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Confidence working collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Good IT and data management skills.
  • Experience using social media analytics and reporting tools.
  • Experience in alumni engagement or a membership-based organisation.
  • Knowledge of Raiser’s Edge CRM.

We offer a great working environment where we support ambition, recognise achievement, and offer an attractive benefits package. This includes hybrid working and flexible working, a minimum of 41 days annual leave (including 10 fixed holidays), a generous pension scheme (employer contribution of 17.6%), nationally agreed pay increase each year, various learning and development opportunities, discounted access to onsite and local gym facilities and a wide range of other staff discounts.

We will be reviewing applications on a rolling basis, so early applications are encouraged.

Interviews: 19th Feb, Sighthill campus. On this occasion, the University will not consider applicants requiring sponsorship or visa support for this role. International applicants will therefore only be able to take up this role if they can demonstrate an alternative right to work in the UK.
