The Property & Facilities team at Edinburgh Napier University is dedicated to delivering an excellent service and experience for staff, students, and visitors across all of our campuses. As part of this ongoing initiative, we are currently hiring a Maintenance Technician (Electrician core trade) to join us and help uphold the positive reputation we have gained by carrying out planned maintenance, reactive works and minor installations.
As Maintenance Technician, you will be in a strong position to use your experience of managing electrical planned maintenance schedules to:
- Carry out designated planned maintenance
- Undertake project and reactive remedial works
- Proactively assist in the development of the maintenance provision to further improve quality
The role offers a day-shift working pattern exclusively, so if you are used to working irregular shift patterns, then this post will provide you with stability and excellent work-life balance. We also offer annual pay reviews in line with cost of living, 41 days of paid annual leave, and an excellent pension with high employer contribution.
