We are seeking an outstanding leader to join our Senior Leadership Team as Director of UK Student Recruitment. This newly created role offers a unique opportunity to shape and deliver a strategy that strengthens Edinburgh Napier’s position as a preferred destination and achieves our student recruitment ambitions.

You will lead the development of an integrated, insight-driven student recruitment strategy for Scotland and the rest of the UK. The role spans early outreach, recruitment marketing, school and college partnerships and applicant experience—from first engagement through to conversion and enrolment. You will also advise senior leaders on market trends, risks, and opportunities, ensuring alignment with wider institutional priorities.

This is a strategic leadership position designed to bring greater focus and accountability to domestic student recruitment performance. You will work closely with academic leaders and professional services teams to ensure a joined-up approach across the full recruitment lifecycle, leveraging data and insights to secure the development of a strong and sustainable domestic applicant pipeline.

  • Proven ability to design and deliver successful recruitment strategies and meet ambitious targets.
