Currently, we are offering an opportunity to join our fantastic team as an Associate Professor (College Partnerships), who’s focus will be to provide strategic oversight of the partnerships the School has with further education colleges in Scotland.
The Role: As Associate Professor (College Partnerships), you will have the opportunity to use your academic experience to provide strategic leadership which will enhance, coordinate and expand the School’s relationships with Scotland’s Further Education (FE) colleges. The role will give you the remit to use your knowledge of partnership working and college outreach to ensure high‑quality, sustainable and seamless pathways from FE to HE, support student recruitment linked to college articulation routes and wider, while contributing to the design and delivery of innovative programmes aligned to the needs of college‑based learners.
Further to this, your knowledge of the health and social care academic landscape (in particular midwifery and nursing), will put you in an excellent position to contribute to the School’s research, teaching, and knowledge exchange ambitions, in turn helping us maintain our international reputation for excellence in these areas.

What we will need from you:
- Qualification in Nursing at least to MSc level
- NMC registered
- Profile that demonstrates at least national standing and some international engagement
- Demonstrable experience of success in working collaboratively with the FE sector and supporting student recruitment activities
- A passion for teaching, learning and personal/professional development
- PVG Membership (or willingness to apply)

Contract: Permanent, Full Time – 35 hrs/wk
