Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the strategy for all aspects of human resources including but not limited to recruitment, performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and compliance with employment laws.
  • Serve as a business partner to leadership, providing coaching and guidance on people-related issues.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of programs designed to engage employees and build a positive culture.
  • Manage the budget for the HR department and ensure cost-effective operations.
  • Conduct regular audits of HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in human resources and make recommendations to senior management.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.
  • Represent the company at various events and conferences related to human resources.
  • Manage compliance and Health & Safety.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on various topics related to human resources.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
  • 2+ years experience in human resources management.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective human resources programs.
  • Strong understanding of federal and state employment laws.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • A degree in human resources, business administration, or CIPD Qualification.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Experience with employee relations, benefits administration, and workers’ compensation.
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
