Introduction to the Breakfast Chef Role

Our Breakfast Chefs are key to delivering a great guest experience. They are detail-oriented, organized, calm under pressure, and committed to high standards. They work closely with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure guest satisfaction.

What we need from you

Experience in a 4-star environment, excellent organization skills, and the ability to stay calm under pressure. You will work closely with the kitchen and front of house teams to uphold standards and deliver a great guest experience. The role involves shifts on Saturdays and/or Sundays, with additional hours during busy periods, including bank holidays.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Knowledge of all hotel facilities and services
  • Preparing, cooking, and serving breakfast (Room Service, Restaurant plated, Buffet, Conference) to standards
  • Adhering to company standards for breakfast production
  • Ensuring breakfast service starts on time
  • Handling special requests and dietary requirements efficiently
  • Preparing and serving staff meals according to Head Chef standards
  • Assisting in other kitchen areas as needed
  • Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards
  • Managing food requisitioning to minimize waste and reduce costs
