Salary- £33,651 per annum
Hours- Full-time, 35.75 hours a week
Contract- Fixed term (until 24th of December)
Location- Sports Pitches

This fixed-term Operations Manager opportunity is a great chance to gain hands-on management experience, develop your leadership skills, and broaden your understanding of venue operations. You'll be supported to develop your skills while playing a key role in the day-to-day operation of the Pitches team.
What You’ll Do:
- Support the delivery of high standards of customer service, cleanliness, and presentation.
- Lead and motivate teams, helping colleagues perform at their best.
- Manage day-to-day operational issues and respond to customer feedback.
- Support staff development, training, and performance management.
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning activities.
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of operational and business objectives.
- Help ensure all health and safety procedures and standards are followed.
What You’ll Bring:
- Experience leading or supervising people in an operational environment.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A positive approach to problem solving and decision making.
- Good communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.
- A commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
- An interest in developing your leadership and management skills.
- Experience supporting areas such as health and safety, staff development, customer service, events, or operational planning.
- Evidence of professional development or relevant qualifications.
