We are looking for enthusiastic and energetic people to join our Lifeguard / Leisure Attendant (Wet) teams.
What You’ll Do:
- Deliver an exceptional experience for every customer ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all.
- Lifeguard vigilantly, supervising pool users and responding to emergencies per our Normal Operating Procedures and Emergency Action Plan.
- Set up our facilities and equipment for events and customer use.
- Keep everything clean, safe, and presentable, including litter picking, cleaning toilets, changing rooms, windows, etc.
- Welcome customers, handle enquiries, record visits, and stay informed about our products and services.
- Complete 1 hour of monthly training and re‑sit the NPLQ exam every 2 years.
What You’ll Bring:
- Strong swimming skills and the ability to achieve National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ).
- Exceptional customer service skills with experience in customer‑facing roles.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Basic IT skills (MS Office, booking systems) and ability to learn technical systems (e.g., radios, alarms).
- Ability to connect with diverse people and work independently or in a team.
- Ability to learn and follow all pool safety standards and procedures.
While a valid NPLQ is desirable, we offer a FREE Lifeguard Training Course if you don’t have one.

- Gracemount Leisure Centre – Permanent, part‑time – 8.25 hours per week (Saturday 08:30 - 17:15)
- Queensferry High School – Permanent, part‑time – 26.5 hours per week (Week 1: Wednesday & Thursday 16:00 - 22:00, Friday 14:00 - 22:00, Sunday 08:30 - 17:00 Week 2: Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday 16:00 - 22:00, Friday 14:00 - 22:00)
- Queensferry High School – Permanent, part‑time – 20 hours per week (Tuesday & Wednesday 16:00 - 22:00, Saturday 08:30 - 17:00)
- Glenogle Swim Centre – Permanent, part‑time – 21 hours per week (Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday 16:00 - 21:30)
- Glenogle Swim Centre – Permanent, part‑time – 15 hours per week (Saturday & Sunday 07:30 - 15:30)
