We are looking for a friendly, fun-loving person with a great sense of humour, plenty of energy and the confidence to get involved in a busy Holiday Camp environment.
What You’ll Do
- Creating a friendly, welcoming and inclusive environment where children feel safe, supported and excited to take part.
- Planning, setting up and leading fun play, sport and physical activity sessions that suit different ages, abilities and interests.
- Getting involved in activities throughout the day, staying active and helping children feel confident to join in.
- Adapting activities and equipment so every child can take part, including children who may need additional support or personal care.
- Keeping accurate, confidential records, including children’s medical information, and building positive relationships with parents and carers.
- Supporting health and safety by monitoring ratios, spotting and reporting hazards, and following safeguarding, child protection and venue procedures.
- Working as a team to keep the venue and equipment clean, tidy and ready.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in a customer-facing role, with the confidence to provide friendly, helpful service to children, parents and carers.
- Experience working with children.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to learn and follow safety standards and procedures.
- The ability to stay calm, organised and positive while managing several tasks in a busy club environment.
- Good physical fitness for a busy, active role that may involve standing, running, lifting and carrying throughout the day.
Opportunity available
- Meadowbank Sports Centre - 35.75 hours - Monday 12th of October to Friday 16th of October, working shifts between 08:00 and 18:00.
This is a full-time fixed-term opportunity during the October school holidays, with the possibility of work at future Holiday Camps during February, April and summer 2027.
