City of Edinburgh Council is seeking a Communication Support Worker to join the citywide Deaf Support Team. You will provide bespoke communication support to deaf children and young people in Early Years, primary, secondary and special schools, using BSL and other methods as required.
The role requires flexibility, interpreting, lip-speaking, scribing and ICT use to enable full curriculum access. You will work with Teachers of the Deaf and the wider team around the child.
