Contract Length: 12 weeks - Temporary initially with opportunity for Permanent
Pay Rate: £12.25 per hour
Working Hours: 12pm-8pm (5 days over 7 on a 3 weekly rotating basis)
- Week 1 days off: Thursday/Friday
- Week 2 days off: Tuesday/Wednesday
- Week 3 days off: Monday/Saturday/Sunday
Hours may vary and overtime may be required.
Main duties:
- Unloading deliveries and checking them against order forms or invoices
- Picking and packing supermarket orders efficiently
- Working in a cold environment - Chilled/Refrigerated area
- Operating barcode scanners or handheld devices to track inventory and ensure correct picking
- Verifying that the orders picked and packed match the customer’s specifications, checking for any discrepancies, damages, or missing items
- Handling heavy lifting as part of the job
- Working as part of a supportive team
