Connect Appointments are recruiting Production Operatives to join an established food manufacturing business based in Shotts, North Lanarkshire. Our client operates a busy food production facility, offering a choice of early, back or night shift to suit your working preferences.
What’s on offer:
- Ongoing temporary position
- Your choice of:
- Early Shift: Monday to Friday, 6am to 2pm or 7am to 3pm (early finish every Friday!)
- Back Shift: Monday to Friday, 2pm to 10pm (early finish every Friday!)
- Night Shift: Monday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am, and Friday, 8pm to 3am
- £13.05 to £15.01 per hour (rising after completing 12 weeks)
- Paid weekly - with all breaks paid
- Full training provided
Responsibilities:
- Preparing, making and packing high-quality food products across various production areas
- Accurately labelling products, ensuring dates and batch numbers are correct
- Packing finished goods into boxes and crates in line with customer specifications
- Completing quality checks and production documentation accurately
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment in line with food safety and hygiene standards
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment (beneficial)
- The ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately
- Good attention to detail and strong time-keeping skills
- Own transport preferable due to site location and working hours
