This role is being advertised as a Shop Manager but on appointment your job title will be Community Shop Manager. We are looking for confident and influential people who want to be at the heart of their local community looking for an opportunity to have control of creative merchandising within managing a Shelter shop.

About you

  • You will need to be an active team player and be able to demonstrate how you have managed and motivated a team previously beyond expectations.
  • Experience of providing excellent customer service in a face-to-face role.
  • Have a good knowledge of recruiting and developing a diverse team and how you have supported and motivated teams to progress.
  • You will need to have good communication skills to engage with the local community to seek out new opportunities to increase the shop's contribution to help further Shelter’s cause.
