A care home in the Auchterarder area is currently recruiting an experienced Senior Care Assistant to work on a permanent basis.

Details of this Senior Care Assistant vacancy and what the successful candidate can expect to receive:

  • Permanent contracts available from 21 to 42 hours per week
  • Long or short shifts available
  • Competitive hourly pay rate of 15.48 per hour
  • Overtime paid at 19.35 per hour
  • Earn up to 42,500 per annum depending on contracted hours and overtime

As a Senior Care Assistant you will:

  • Take a lead role in the day-to-day care of service users, supporting the Home Manager, Deputy Manager, and Senior Leadership team.
  • Support and guide Care Assistants, ensuring high standards of care are consistently delivered.

What we are looking for in a Senior Care Assistant:

  • Previous experience working as a Care Assistant or Senior Care Assistant in a care setting
  • A caring and empathetic nature with strong leadership qualities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and committed to high standards of care
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (preferred)
  • Right to work in the UK (No sponsorship or visa switch available)
