Our Client is a successful Grower of Fruit, supplying the retail sector with an impressive quality of product. We now offer the opportunity to become a fundamental member of the business working as Production Manager to assist with the effective management of the busy packhouse.

Responsibilities:

  • Running the production on the floor of a very busy seasonal fruit packhouse, packing product to meet the needs of retail supermarket customer specifications.
  • Managing the production runs & flows to ensure smooth operation of the lines.
  • Meet production plans by managing line packers productivity.
  • Planning the production runs for the day and communicating these with the line leaders.
  • Providing accurate yield information on packout and grade out.

Qualifications:

  • Fresh Produce / Fresh Food sector experienced production individual.
  • Confident ability within a Fresh Food / Fresh Produce packing facility.
  • Personable, encouraging, and hands‑on management approach and experience.
  • Knowledge of expectations and standards required in the supply of fresh product to retail customers.

  • 5 days out of 7 in the Winter (flexible due to seasonality).
