This role provides crucial support to manufacturing processes and offers the chance to develop skills across multiple work areas.
The Details
- Location: Inchinnan Business Park, Paisley.
- Pay Rate: 13.20 per hour.
- Shift Allowance: An additional 25% shift allowance.
- Salary Equivalent: 27,107.
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week on a rotating pattern (Early, Back, and Night shifts).
- Duration: 6-month initial contract.
The Role
As a Level 1 Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the daily requirements for the manufacture of cell culture media and reagents are met. You will:
- Support the efficiency of processes and machines to meet schedule attainment.
- Collaborate with team leaders, supervisors, and other departments to maintain high quality and service standards.
- Work in a graded manufacturing environment, adhering to specific gowning requirements.
- Handle chemicals and hazardous materials safely.
- Perform manual handling tasks that may involve standing for long periods.
Who Are We Looking For?
- Education: National 5 or better in Standard Grade Maths and English
- Experience: No direct experience required as full training will be given. Relevant work experience is also considered a suitable alternative.
