We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Mobile Vehicle Technician in Edinburgh. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced professional to work independently across Edinburgh, Galashiels, and surrounding areas, providing on-site servicing and diagnostics directly from their home location.

Duties of a Mobile Vehicle Technician

  • Conduct servicing, repairs, and diagnostic work at customer premises
  • Operate from a fully equipped service van, beginning and ending shifts at home
  • Maintain a high standard of customer service and professionalism
  • Accurately complete job cards and documentation as a Mobile Vehicle Technician
  • Use diagnostic equipment to identify faults rapidly and efficiently
  • Manage daily jobs independently on the road, ensuring timely completion

Requirements of a Mobile Vehicle Technician

  • NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent qualification
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Proven experience as a mobile or workshop vehicle technician
  • Strong mechanical fault-finding and repair skills
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage daily workloads
  • Confident in using diagnostic tools and equipment
