We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Mobile Vehicle Technician in Edinburgh. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced professional to work independently across Edinburgh, Galashiels, and surrounding areas, providing on-site servicing and diagnostics directly from their home location.

Duties of a Mobile Vehicle Technician
- Conduct servicing, repairs, and diagnostic work at customer premises
- Operate from a fully equipped service van, beginning and ending shifts at home
- Maintain a high standard of customer service and professionalism
- Accurately complete job cards and documentation as a Mobile Vehicle Technician
- Use diagnostic equipment to identify faults rapidly and efficiently
- Manage daily jobs independently on the road, ensuring timely completion
Requirements of a Mobile Vehicle Technician
- NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent qualification
- Full UK driving licence
- Proven experience as a mobile or workshop vehicle technician
- Strong mechanical fault-finding and repair skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage daily workloads
- Confident in using diagnostic tools and equipment
