Connect Appointments is recruiting a Maintenance Electrician to join an established technical manufacturing business in the Dundee and Angus area on a full-time permanent basis. Our client is part of an established international manufacturing group, operating a large production facility in Angus with a strong reputation for quality and innovation across their sector.

What's on offer?

  • Full-time permanent position
  • £50,000 per annum, paid monthly
  • Choice of two shift patterns:
    • 4-on/4-off continental - 2 days (8am to 8pm) and 2 nights (8pm to 8am)
    • Rotating Monday to Friday across days, backs and nights - includes one on-call weekend in five

As a Maintenance Electrician, your duties will include:

  • Organising and prioritising maintenance work on a shift-by-shift basis
  • Installation of plant and machinery
  • Conducting preventative maintenance and responding to breakdowns
  • Carrying out portable appliance testing
  • Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained at all times

To be considered as a Maintenance Electrician, you will need:

  • A time-served electrical background, educated to HNC or City and Guilds level
  • Additional training or knowledge in the mechanical discipline
  • Working knowledge of current Electrical Regulations
  • The ability to work on your own initiative with strong communication skills
