Our leading Global Client are looking for a Production Operator to join their well established team based at their Kirkcaldy site. This role is for a minimum of six months but may extend depending on business needs and performance.
Key duties
- Working as part of the recycling team
- Driving and machine operating – initial focus on driving
- Indoor and outdoor role
- Dusty and noisy environment
- Perform various labouring tasks as needed
Required skills and experience
- Detail‑oriented, physically fit, and eager to contribute to a high‑performing team.
- Proven experience in a fast‑paced manufacturing or production setting.
- Ideally a forklift/machine licence but training will be provided if not.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Strong focus on safety and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Capable of handling physical tasks and manual labour.
- Willing to work in a dusty environment, mainly indoors.
Pay and shift pattern
- Dayshift – Mon–Thurs 6am‑2pm, Fri 6am‑12pm £13.20/hr
- Backshift – Mon–Thurs 2pm‑10pm, Fri 12pm‑6pm £13.96/hr
- Nightshift – Mon–Thurs 10pm‑6am, Fri 6pm‑12pm £15.51/hr
- There will also be the opportunity to work overtime at enhanced rates.
Additional requirements
- The role requires the candidate to be locally based in Kirkcaldy and have the ability to drive or have transport.
