Our Client is a Domestic, Commercial, and Industrial Heating Contractor based in Glasgow who have been established for over 20 years. They specialise in residential, industrial and commercial gas, mechanical, and electrical services, offering a full suite of plant room refit, service, and repair works. The Heating Engineer will travel throughout East Lothian, West Lothian, and Edinburgh and will attend domestic boiler and HIU breakdown, repair and service work.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, repair, and maintain heat interface units / HIU's, and domestic boilers (if qualified)
- Identify and diagnose problems with gas appliances and systems
- Repair and maintenance to hot and cold water systems
- Perform regular maintenance on gas appliances and systems to ensure they are operating safely and efficiently
- Ensure paperwork is complete on time and accurately
Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in plumbing and heating
- Experience in maintenance and service or HIU's
- ACS Domestic Gas Tickets (Advantageous)
- ACS Commercial Gas Tickets (Advantageous)
- Based within a commutable distance of East Lothian, West Lothian, Edinburgh, and surrounding areas
- Full UK Driving License
Remuneration
- Salary 45,000 - 48,000
- Travel pay after 15 mins
- Overtime available
- Call out 1 in 7/8 (180 for standby)
