We are recruiting for a Procurement & Commercial Manager to support the delivery of a major offshore wind project in the North Sea. This role will focus on the procurement and commercial management of Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) packages. This is a commercially focused role requiring strong negotiation skills and experience managing high-value supplier contracts.
The Role
- Managing procurement and commercial activities relating to WTG packages, working closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading end-to-end procurement activities for WTG packages
- Managing supplier negotiations and contract award processes
- Developing and implementing procurement strategies aligned to project objectives
- Evaluating supplier proposals and ensuring commercial competitiveness
- Managing supplier relationships and performance
- Identifying and mitigating commercial risks throughout the contract lifecycle
What We're Looking For
- Strong experience in procurement and commercial roles within energy or infrastructure projects
- Proven track record of negotiating high-value contracts with major suppliers/OEMs
- Experience working with wind turbine or large equipment packages (desirable)
- Solid understanding of contract frameworks (NEC, FIDIC, or similar)
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation capability
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment
