Location: South Lanarkshire (Workshop & Site Based)

Shifts: Monday-Friday 07:30-16:00 (overtime available at enhanced rates)

The Opportunity

We're looking for a reliable and hardworking Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a growing installation team based in South Lanarkshire.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys practical, hands‑on work and wants to build a long‑term career within mechanical engineering. You'll work alongside experienced engineers and fitters both in the workshop and on customer sites, receiving training and development while supporting mechanical installation projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation of mechanical equipment and pipework
• Support workshop assembly and preparation of equipment
• Load and unload materials and equipment
• Use basic hand and power tools (training provided)
• Assist with site installation work
• Maintain a clean and organised working environment
• Support commissioning activities
• Follow all health and safety procedures

Requirements

Essential

• Practical and hands‑on approach
• Strong work ethic
• Reliable with good attendance
• Able to work well within a team
• Willingness to learn new skills

Desirable

• Previous labouring or mechanical experience
• CSCS Card
• Driving Licence
