Flexible People Ltd are urgently seeking a Counterbalance truck driver for a well-known company based in East Kilbride. This is a full-time ongoing position with immediate starts available. This is for our prestigious client that specializes in the distribution of wholesale cleaning products.

Duties:

  • General warehouse work
  • Loading and unloading vehicles with the use of the counterbalance or the reach
  • Managing and organizing stock with the use of a reach truck and counterbalance
  • Partaking in the rotation of stock
  • Ensuring that all health and safety procedures are followed

Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00-19:00.

Pay rate: £14.24 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay).

Requirements:

  • Previous warehouse experience
  • Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
  • Must own suitable workwear: black or navy trousers, plain t-shirt, hi-vis vest, and safety boots
  • If you have a Reach license then please still apply as the company have use of Reach
  • Excellent customer service skills and a professional attitude
  • Ability to work independently and take responsibility for tasks
  • Must speak, read, and write fluent English
  • National Insurance number is required
  • Previous experience on the counterbalance or reach
  • The reach or the counterbalance MUST be accredited and in date
  • The right candidates must be willing to work full time and understand that they will be relied upon
