Shuttering Joiner in East Calder

Bridgeman Recruitment Services are currently recruiting for an experienced Shuttering Joiner to work with a well-established civil engineering contractor on a long-term infrastructure project in Livingston.

The successful candidate will have proven experience in traditional and system formwork, with the ability to work from technical drawings to construct, install, and dismantle shuttering for reinforced concrete structures. You will play a key role in ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Construct, install, and dismantle traditional and proprietary formwork systems.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and site specifications.
• Prepare formwork for concrete pours, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Work alongside steel fixers, groundworkers, and concrete teams.
• Maintain a safe and tidy working environment, following all health and safety procedures.
• Carry out general shuttering and formwork duties as directed by the site management team.

Requirements:

• Valid CSCS Card (essential).
• Proven experience as a Shuttering Joiner on civil engineering projects.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Own tools and full PPE.
• Strong understanding of site health and safety.
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work as part of a team.
