My client, a global pharmaceutical manufacturing company, is looking to recruit an experienced Operations Buyer and Travel Support Coordinator based in West Lothian, Scotland. You will be responsible for purchasing and travel support for the site.
Day to day duties and responsibilities include:
- Indirect PO generation, conversion, placement with suppliers and support open invoice reconciliation.
- Global travel management support; processing and organising traveller enquiries.
- Global IT category approvals support.
- Processing confidentiality agreements and contract request forms, and supporting administration of contracts with legal support for global sites, vendor add and maintenance change requests.
- Facilitating and administering RFP/eAuction events and future pipeline projects as part of e-sourcing support.
- Producing and publishing KPI reporting metrics to support the business.
- Using Excel to manage complex datasets and deliver KPI reporting.
Working hours: 37 hours per week – Monday to Thursday 9:00‑17:00, Friday 9:00‑16:30. This is a 12‑month contract role based in West Lothian, Scotland, which will be reviewed for a possible extension or permanent appointment depending on performance.
Pay: PAYE rate £15.00 per hour.
