Duties:
- Conduct all aspects of mechanical and electrical repairs on vehicles
- Use diagnostics confidently to identify and repair faults
- Strip, refit, and repair body panels, bumpers, and doors
- Work efficiently within a fast-paced bodyshop environment
- Complete job cards and repair paperwork accurately and on time
- Maintain high standards of quality and safety throughout all repair processes
- Work independently or as part of a team depending on workload
- Ensure tools and equipment are maintained and available for use
Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification as an MET Technician or Mechanic
- Proven experience working within a bodyshop environment
- ATA accreditation is highly beneficial
- Strong diagnostics skills and ability to troubleshoot effectively
- Competent in stripping and refitting vehicle panels and parts
- Ability to work efficiently within a busy environment
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Own tools necessary for the role
