Founded in 2016, providing electrical contractor services for both domestic and commercial applications, Peace Recruitment Services client is a leading electrical and renewables contractor. Due to our client's continued growth plans, they currently seek Electricians to work on projects throughout the UK. Projects range from small domestic works to large scale electrical installations for both public and private sector clients.
The successful Electrician will be involved in a wide range of projects across both large-scale commercial and domestic installations. Commercial work will include office refurbishments, commercial EV charging installations, and large warehouse projects. Domestic projects will involve full electrical installations, EV home charging systems, as well as solar PV and battery storage installations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Install and commission solar PV systems, battery storage, and EV chargers
- Carry out electrical testing, fault finding, and certification
- Ensure all work complies with current wiring regulations and industry standards
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, and workmanship
- Work independently and as part of a team on site
- Liaise professionally with customers and colleagues
To be considered for this role, you will be a fully qualified electrician with ECS grade card and have 18th Edition Wiring Regulations. In addition, you will demonstrate the following:
- Minimum 3-years experience in a similar role
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Though not essential, experience of the below would be considered highly desirable:
- Solar PV, battery storage, or EV charger certifications
- Testing & Inspection qualification
- Previous domestic and commercial experience
