Data Manager/Azure Fabric specialist to play a pivotal role in the organisation's data transformation journey.

This is an opportunity to bridge the gap between business strategy and modern data platforms, helping to design, build and govern enterprise-wide analytical solutions that support regulatory reporting, risk management, customer insight, operational efficiency and strategic decision-making.

Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you'll help establish data as a strategic asset while delivering scalable, compliant and high-quality data products using the Microsoft technology stack.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with business stakeholders to understand and document data and reporting requirements.
  • Translate business needs into analytical data products, automation initiatives and reporting solutions.
  • Design and develop Lakehouse and Data Warehouse solutions using Microsoft Fabric.
  • Build and optimise end-to-end data pipelines and ingestion frameworks.
  • Deliver robust MI, dashboarding and reporting solutions within Power BI.
  • Drive data governance initiatives including data lineage, quality, traceability and metadata management.
  • Develop and maintain data models, business glossaries, process documentation and data dictionaries.
  • Support regulatory reporting, risk analytics, customer insight and operational reporting initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and improved business decision-making through data.
  • Promote data literacy and champion best practice across the organisation.
  • Collaborate with project, technology and change teams to support successful delivery of strategic initiatives.
