Flexible People Ltd are urgently seeking a Counterbalance truck driver for a well-known company based in East Kilbride. This is a full-time ongoing position with immediate starts available. This is for our prestigious client that specializes in the distribution of wholesale cleaning products.
Duties:
- General warehouse work
- Loading and unloading vehicles with the use of the counterbalance or the reach
- Managing and organizing stock with the use of a reach truck and counterbalance
- Partaking in the rotation of stock
- Ensuring that all health and safety procedures are followed
Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00-19:00.
Pay rate: £14.24 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay).
Requirements:
- Previous warehouse experience
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
- Must own suitable workwear: black or navy trousers, plain t-shirt, hi-vis vest, and safety boots
- If you have a Reach license then please still apply as the company have use of Reach
- Excellent customer service skills and a professional attitude
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility for tasks
- Must speak, read, and write fluent English
- National Insurance number is required
- Previous experience on the counterbalance or reach
- The reach or the counterbalance MUST be accredited and in date
- The right candidates must be willing to work full time and understand that they will be relied upon
