Search are recruiting for a Paralegal to join a modern legal firm in the heart of Dundee.
You\’ll join a large and successful team of fee earners, paralegals, and secretaries who work in a collaborative way to provide the very best service to their clients.

Duties and Responsibilities
- File Management: Open, manage, and close residential conveyancing files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant
- Client Communication: Liaise directly with clients, providing updates and responding to queries throughout the transaction
- Document Preparation: Draft and review contracts, transfer deeds, missives, and other legal documents
- Legal Compliance: Ensure all conveyancing activities adhere to Scots Law and regulatory requirements
- Searches & Registrations: Conduct property searches, prepare Land Registry forms, and handle post-completion tasks including registration of deeds
- Stakeholder Liaison: Communicate with solicitors, estate agents, mortgage brokers, and other third parties
- Case Management Systems: Use conveyancing software and Microsoft Office to maintain accurate records and correspondence
Skills & Experience
- Experience in residential conveyancing is essential
- Familiarity with Scottish conveyancing procedures and terminology
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to work independently and manage your caseload
- Proficiency in case management systems and general IT tools
