Our client is a leading manufacturing company supplying advanced engineering components and services to the Aerospace, Automotive & High Technology Sectors.
Due to continued growth and expansion, they have a new vacancy for a EHS & Facilities Engineering Manager to join the team.
You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the Health & Safety management systems, managing facilities maintenance and identifying areas for improvement across the plant.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Environmental, Health & Safety activities across the site, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the facilities maintenance of buildings, utilities and site infrastructure.
- Manage facilities maintenance contractors and service providers, ensuring quality, cost, and performance standards are met.
- Identify areas for improvement across the plant and implement changes.
- Conduct risk assessments, inspections and incident investigations, implementing corrective actions where required.
- Evaluate business processes to identify inefficiencies, reduce waste and drive continuous improvement.
- Manage suppliers and control budgets for facilities services.
- The Person
- Proven experience in an EHS and/or Facilities Management role within a complex engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Recognized Health & Safety qualification (NEBOSH Diploma, certification or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of relevant health, safety, and environmental legislation.
- Experience managing contractors, maintenance programs, and facility improvement projects.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
