Accounts Manager in Practice

Our client is a well-established firm of accountants based in Fife. Due to practice development, a senior position has arisen for a qualified accountant (CA, ACA, ACCA etc) at Manager level. The role would entail a general practice background covering the supervision of accounts preparation, personal and corporate tax, VAT and a variety of ad hoc assignments arising for a mixed client portfolio. You will have experience of allocating and reviewing work, as well as reporting at partner level. You should be an excellent communicator who enjoys client liaison and who relishes a challenge. Candidates must have UK experience in professional accounting practice and an accepted professional qualification. Although candidates from elsewhere in the UK will be considered, an understanding of small businesses in east-central Scotland, or the Central Belt will be a considerable advantage.
