Role Overview

The Process Group Facilitator will facilitate a weekly experiential process group that supports trainees in the following areas:

  • Reflecting on their internal responses to the training from a psychodynamic and existential perspective
  • Engaging with interpersonal and group dynamics and increasing self-awareness

Qualifications

  • Psychodynamic training (essential)
  • Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience, or 2 years facilitating groups in training settings
  • Demonstrable experience facilitating therapy or process groups
  • Accredited, or working towards accreditation, with a recognised professional body (e.g. BACP, UKCP, NCPS)
  • Current PVG membership (or willingness to obtain)
  • Professional indemnity insurance
  • A qualification or training in group analysis is desirable

Additional Information

  • Attendance at team meetings (paid at £20/hour) is required, usually 2 × 1-hour meetings per module
  • Opportunity to claim supervision hours (approx. 2 hours per module)
  • Induction and initial team meeting will take place in August 2026
