We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join our team. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles, including cars, vans and SUVs. This is a hands-on position that requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality work.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks.
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles.
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify any potential issues or upcoming maintenance needs.
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and troubleshoot problems accurately.
- Complete repairs efficiently and effectively, ensuring that all work meets industry standards and safety regulations.
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed on vehicles.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and repair techniques through continuous learning and training.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a formal automotive technician training programme is preferred.
- Proven experience as a vehicle technician / mechanic.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driving licence.
