Edinburgh Bike Co-op are looking for a passionate cyclist who has experience within the industry to fill this full-time role in our Online Department.
The Role:
Based at our Head Office in Newbridge, the successful candidate will be part of a fast-paced team that works to fulfil daily deadlines; processing orders and assembling bikes. We are looking for a reliable and self-motivated person who can take on varied tasks including:
- Processing Online orders
- Building bikes and completing pre delivery inspections (PDI) on them
- Packaging bikes and products in a safe manner for shipping
- Booking bike shipments
- Answering phone calls and emails
- Liaising with our stores regarding orders and customer enquiries
Most importantly, you will be a team player who takes pride in giving the very best service to every customer that contacts our business.
Essential skills:
- Sales experience and order processing
- Knowledge of the bike industry and bike product
- Good written and verbal skills
- Confident and professional phone manner
- Ability to build and PDI bikes
- High attention to detail
- Previous bike mechanic experience
- Experience with google suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive)
- Experience with Citrus Lime
- Drivers licence (over 25) to assist with van delivery schedules
