Full Time (37.5 hours) Permanent position. We have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Manager in our Aberdeen store and we're inviting candidates to apply. Based at our store in George Street, you will work closely with the Branch Manager in all aspects of running the branch.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the Branch Manager in all tasks.
  • Delivering high levels of customer service alongside the business's active selling programme.
  • Supporting the management of individuals and groups of staff.
  • Ensuring continued staff presence on the sales floors.
  • Assisting with display and merchandising.
  • Dealing with customer service issues and complaints when they arise.
  • Operating specific and regular administrative systems.
  • Assisting with staff training and development.
  • Assisting in carrying out necessary management procedures.

It is essential that you:

  • Can demonstrate strong administrative, leadership and motivational skills, as well as a highly developed sense of customer service.
  • Can manage customer and staff expectations while maximising the sales opportunity.
  • Are an effective time-manager and a pragmatic problem solver.
  • Place great emphasis on service quality and productivity, whilst paying attention to detail and 'completing / finishing'.
  • Have the drive and motivation to identify, act on, and deliver sales opportunities.
